Your Starting Line
Start your ride day with a visit to Gateway Farmer’s Market. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, the market hosts vendors offering a variety of garden greens, fresh baked goods, local crafts, jams, salsas – the list goes on! Because the market sits at the south entrance to Nix Creek Trail, you can easily pass through it on your way to your ride.

You can choose from several parking options along Nix Creek Trail:
At the north entrance, the Nix Creek Parking Lot is marked by signage on Arkansas Blvd
Ed Worrell Memorial Park has plenty of spots available right along the trail’s path. Take Don Bearden Dr. until you reach the lot seen here:
Choose Jefferson Park‘s lot near the south entrance if you want to start close to the Gateway Farmer’s Market.
How to Ride
Nix Creek Trail offers a 4.4-mile, out-and-back paved route with minimal elevation changes, making it perfect for all skill levels. The trail crosses several neighborhood streets. Be sure to take care, watch for cross traffic, and obey all road laws. You can bring your dogs on the trail, but you must keep them on a leash.
