Where to Eat and Where to Go on Thanksgiving in Texarkana, Arkansas

Thanksgiving week gets busy, and a lot of people just want an easy plan for where to grab a good meal without the stress of cooking. We pulled together a simple guide showing which restaurants are open on Thanksgiving—and which ones are open the Wednesday before—so you can move through the week with less hassle and enjoy the holiday your way in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Open Thanksgiving Day

  • Fat Jacks – Doors open at 4 p.m. A local go-to for a laid-back evening.
  • Hopkins Icehouse – Open 4 p.m.-Late. Good food, good atmosphere, and no dishes to wash afterward.
  • Alley Cats Coffee – Open 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Grab a warm drink, fresh pastries, or a light bite before the day gets rolling.
  • Johnny B’s – Open 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Start Thanksgiving with a solid breakfast or brunch.
  • Rieki Hibachi – Open all day on Thanksgiving starting at 9 a.m. If you want something different from the traditional turkey spread, Rieki is open with hibachi favorites
  • Dirty Dough – Open 7:30-11 a.m. Swing by for last-minute treats—cookies, sweets, and grab-and-go items to round out your dessert table (or to eat in the car).
  • Holiday Entertainment Center – Open 3-10 p.m. If you need to get everyone out of the house after the big meal, Holiday Entertainment Center is open for bowling, laser tag, arcade games, and a made-to-order snack bar.

Whichever place you choose, we hope the food will be just as good as the company you share it with. And remember to show a little extra appreciation to the folks serving you, since they are working hard during the holiday to make sure everyone is well taken care of.
