The Texarkana Arkansas Advertising and Promotion Commission is accepting applications for 2026 funding. If your organization runs events, attractions, or programs that bring visitors to Texarkana, Arkansas, this is worth your attention.

Requests are due by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Applications must be submitted in writing, with 10 copies mailed to the Finance Director at the City of Texarkana, Arkansas.

The commission will hold a Special Called Meeting on June 16 at 4:30 p.m. to hear requests, and a representative from your organization is required to attend and make a brief five-minute presentation.

A&P funds can be used for advertising and promoting the city, operating tourist-oriented facilities, supporting convention or tourist promotion, and other qualifying purposes tied to tourism and economic development.

Your application should include a completed application form, a description of the services or programs to be funded, background on your organization, a summary of the event or attraction and its target audience, an explanation of how the funding supports tourism and economic development in Texarkana, Arkansas, financial statements, and a five-year history of any A&P funds previously received.
