Hot Tails Crawfish & Seafood

About 15 minutes up the highway from downtown Texarkana, Hot Tails Crawfish & Seafood sits right along the state line and close to the Red River. When crawfish season rolls around, usually late February through May or June, people come out for trays of crawfish served with corn and potatoes for a classic boil spread across the picnic tables. When crawfish isn’t in season, the menu still includes shrimp, crab legs, boudin, and other Cajun favorites. On some nights you might even catch live music while folks gather around the tables, crack shells, and catch up with friends.
