The Celebration Starts with the Parade

The 6th Annual Juneteenth Parade kicks off at 5 p.m. at Bobby Ferguson Park and has become one of the highlights of the celebration, bringing together local organizations, businesses, community groups, and residents from across the Texarkana area. This year’s theme, “Resilient Women,” recognizes the strength, leadership, and impact women continue to have throughout our community.

Live Entertainment All Night Long

Once the parade wraps up, the spotlight shifts to the Four States Fairgrounds for a full evening of entertainment.

This year’s festival features a Southern Soul, Blues, and R&B concert with performances from J-Wonn, Donnie Ray, Jack Forte, Michael Rhodes & The Jive Band, plus music from DJ Godfather and DJ Hollygrove throughout the evening.

Whether you’re dancing in front of the stage or talking with friends, the live music lineup is set to keep the energy going all night.

Food, Vendors, and Family Fun

Of course, no festival is complete without great food and vendors.

Guests can browse local vendors, support entrepreneurs and community organizations, enjoy family-friendly activities, and let the kids burn off some energy in the Kids Playland. Between the food, shopping, entertainment, and activities, there’s something happening all around the fairgrounds.

Stick Around for the Fireworks

Before the night comes to an end, make sure to stick around for the fireworks show. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a great night.
